Inversora La Paz is an agro-industrial complex located 2.5 kilometers from San Carlos de
Guaroa on the way to Castilla La Nueva.
Our industrial complex
The fundamental objective is the production of biodiesel. Our flagship product is Golden
Biodiesel, one of the purest and highest quality products in Colombia.
Our three main units
01. Extraction Plant
- Extraction of 45 tons of palm fruit per hour, applying cutting-edge technology that reduces water requirements in its processes by 50% compared to standard technologies currently available in the country.
- High-efficiency German technology separators to produce the best crude oil in the country.
- RWe remove a significant portion of the organic load from wastewater and convert it into: Livestock feed, bmitigating environmental impacts, improving effluent treatment..
Waste Management
50% of the effluents we currently produce are taken to the compost production unit. The other fifty percent are treated in an effluent treatment unit. Soon, we will install a methane recovery system for energy generation.
The solid waste, a portion of it, is destined for compost production to return nutrients to the soil and crops.
The other part is used to co-generate electricity through a high-efficiency boiler and steam turbine, allowing us to be energy self-sufficient.

02. Refinery Plant
- Cutting-edge technology from Southeast Asia.
- With an installed processing capacity of 10.4 tons of crude oil per hour.
- The refining products are: fatty acid and refined, bleached, and deodorized oil, of high quality.
- In the oil refining and bleaching process, the used bleaching earths are utilized to produce compost.
03. Biodiesel Plant
- With an installed capacity of 10.3 tons per hour.
- Southeast Asian technology with high-efficiency systems to ensure efficient transformation of raw materials into product.
All our processes in productive plants are automated and controlled from central control rooms.
Our company has around 1,400 employees in the core operations and about 400 workers in our own plantations. In the industrial complex, there are 200 workers.
